Pretty/Dirty Projection Mapping @ MCA Denver

Denver's esteemed MCA commissioned this audioreactive, beat-responsive, projection-mapped, LED-light-ambienced, sultry-grooved entryway experience for visitors and party-goers for the Marilyn Minter Pretty/Dirty retrospective launch party. Built upon several rounds of iteration on my custom Processing projection-mapping software, this edition was video-heavy, with some new soft audioreactive and generative GLSL layers composited into the mix. The video textures slowly cycle across the polygon mesh as the beat hits, while overlays and post-processing effects flow in and out. These clips represent a small fragment of the 5.5-hour installation. The soundtrack and extra visual art direction were provided by Matt FaJohn of Legwork Studio.
